Terrible Main St.

A robust set of assets to create a lively main street in your game! The goal was to start making default businesses; these sort of throwaway locations that are freely available for stories as "ACME" style companies. There's no need to lean into the story of any of them, but when someone sees a "Gigi's" they know "food and drink here" or "ahh i've been to a Gigi's in another fangame".

Additionally, there's a ton of generic signs like "Cafe" or "Market" so you can flavor your pedestrian mall how you see fit.

the pack includes:

- Grass texture with some variety and rocks and stones.

- Cobblestone with soft palette but still strong enough to be appreciated.

- Shallow pond and some lilypads and reeds.

- An oak/hickory tree in green and rust.

- A maple tree in green and rust

- Some kind of fluffy bough conifer? i think? idk what i was going for tbh.

- Small concrete row fountains with ploppable spouts and lilypads.

- Park Benches

- Street Lamp

- Post Office Drop Box

- Metal Trash can and Plastic Curbside Trash Can

- Fire Hydrant

- Small lamp/lantern

- Dumpsters (including a little guy)

- Manhole, with ladder variant (To connect to my "Terrible Sewers" pack!)

- Rooftop hangout sesh assets (More of these for free in my "Terrible Campsite" pack!)

- A bunch of signs for various things. Feel free to resize/move/alter to fit your cities buildings.

- Entryway Awnings in various colors

- Several Box Trucks with fictional generic company logos (and a blank one)

- Two "CITIBUS" public shuttles, facing both directions.

- Red Brick downtown style apartment building with modular mixed-use commercial storefronts. Various window dressing options and rooftop access door asset (for those rooftop hangouts)

- Small Gray downtown style building (does not scale vertically, but horizontally indefinitely. works well as a filler between two larger buildings)

- Small stucco boutique (does not expand, meant to be a charming little shop. the signs fit nicely.)

- Pseudo-gothic building with vertical modularity and customizable center column.

- Large civic building/school. 

This pack will most definitely get updated, as i'm going to be making a more modern version of this same city in my next pack, using the same ground textures and general vibe.

This pack pairs well with my other packs.

(Designed for RPG Maker Essentials but works with any engine that supports PNG tilesets. Everything is in 32x32 at 2x2px density. Color palettes are not compatible with palette restrictions. No animations are included. Updates to this theme are likely.)
